Article: "Keine Zeit für Gleichgültigkeit" (No Time to Not Care)
Bauwelt
Son wrote a piece for the German architecture magazine Bauwelt on behalf of Safe Space Collective. The German version of "No Time to Not Care: Refuturing Architecture" was published in Stadtbauwelt 26.2022: Stadt und Rassismus. It acted as an epilogue for the Safe Space project. If our manifesting statement "For a more Equitable Architecture" (2021) was a call, to our peers and also ourselves, to unite around the questions of structural discrimination, this text gathered ideas we discussed with many researchers and practitioners over the course of Safe Space into a proposal of what we can tangibly do, both in education and in professional practice, to move toward systemic change.

Workshop day for OAT Academy 2022: "Urban Furniture Hacking for Disobedient Bodies and Behaviors"
The Oslo School of Architecture and Design
Maridalsveien 29, 0175 Oslo
Son and Armelle were invited to write a brief and facilitate a workshop day with a hundred students and faculty members from all over Europe on the theme of social justice, using Gamle Oslo as site. This workshop is part of the week-long experimental academic forum Oslo Architecture Triennale – Academy 2022 “(RE)ACTING / (EN)ACTING – Collective Dissidence: Reclaiming the Neighborhood”. In this exercise, we address the prescriptive and prohibitive urban environment of today with concepts such as of hostile architecture and counter-terror urbanism, and ask students to work collectively to create prototypes of “hacked” urban furniture as future scenarios of inclusive design. A warm thank you to all the participating schools—Sandberg Instituut, KU Leuven, TU Graz, NTNU, AHO, KTH, and Aarhus School of Architecture—and to fellow Safe Space Collective member Paul-Antoine for this wonderful invitation!
